Physical therapy is the treatment of individuals with limitations in functional mobility. Pediatric Physical Therapists (PTs) work with children and their families to assist each child in reaching their maximum potential. PTs use a variety of treatments to help build strength, improve movement, and strengthen skills needed to complete daily activities.
Occupational therapy helps people to do the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of daily activities (occupations). Pediatric Occupational Therapists (OTs) help children with disabilities to participate fully in school, to gain independence while also strengthening the development of fine motor skills, sensory-motor skills, and visual-motor skills.
Speech therapy is the assessment and treatment of communication problems and speech disorders. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) help children communicate effectively by assisting with the improvement of their verbal and non-verbal language skills. They also help with feeding and swallowing issues.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) overall goal is to figure out why a child behaves the way they do and then focuses on ways to encourage those good behavior habits and correct the harmful behaviors habits of that child. ABA focuses on positive reinforcement to decrease those unwanted behaviors.
Pediatric Respiratory Therapists (RTs) work with children who suffer from lung diseases and ailments that may restrict their growth and development. Some respiratory conditions that are common among kids include asthma, cystic fibrosis, respiratory tract infection, emphysema, pneumonia, among others.
Non-emergency medical transportation is offered to each child for pick-up and drop-off to and from home, school, and medical appointments. A medical care staff will always accompany all children on board the transport vehicle.
Hands-on experiences in cognitive, communicative, social, physical, and emotional growth will be the core of our after-school program. Children will be able to participate in developmentally appropriate activities that are stimulating. Racky PPEC is dedicated to offering educational tools to family members to benefit children outside of our facility.
With indoor and outdoor spaces areas, children will have fun when learning. Areas where they can also enjoy different recreational activities such as Fun Games, Arts & Craft, Drawing & much more.
